But as you've mentioned, I looked at my paint collection & am seeing far more Vallejo & craft paint bottles these days. I agree with the price of the miniatures at GW as well...so like their paints, their sales to me are drying up.Terry Silverthornhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02873668652853883440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4866325319649237488.post-78345402069152411082014-09-02T16:17:59.327+01:002014-09-02T16:17:59.327+01:00thanks for the advice, I've ordered a pot and ...thanks for the advice, I've ordered a pot and am eager to see how it isbrownk29https://www.blogger.com/profile/09287347893715981206noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4866325319649237488.post-56997474664255087392014-09-02T16:17:22.246+01:002014-09-02T16:17:22.246+01:00Yeah they really were fantastic metallic, why I wa...Yeah they really were fantastic metallic, why I was willing to put up a whole post on one pot of paint.

I think they're loosing their fanboys, in our group we have all been making that move slowly away from GW for around 3 years now, and that's after 15+ years each of buying nothing but GWbrownk29https://www.blogger.com/profile/09287347893715981206noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4866325319649237488.post-79780370755462771912014-09-02T16:14:44.159+01:002014-09-02T16:14:44.159+01:00thanks for the tip. Those were easily the best metals Ipoh the market with good coverage and very fine metallic particles. Vallejo may not be far behind, but I still loved those and was willing to pay the premium there.

IMHO it was the dumbest decision they could ever make to drop those. But I guess there will be enough fanboys out there who buy the new stuff regardless, so why should they care!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4866325319649237488.post-51159855870978457672014-09-01T13:26:24.918+01:002014-09-01T13:26:24.918+01:00I find that the Vallejo Model Color Gunmetal grey ...I find that the Vallejo Model Color Gunmetal grey is almost a perfect match for boltgun metal.RuntMcRoryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09334205077580013680noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4866325319649237488.post-29254527562876682032014-09-01T12:30:32.870+01:002014-09-01T12:30:32.870+01:00I just use some of the washes and one old foundati...I just use some of the washes and one old foundation paint,

IanIanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17113835961977211021noreply@blogger.com
